This “Jam Style” weekend offers multiple events including the Cool Runnings Invitational, the Top Gun Jump Jam, and the Hot Laps Enduro. Battle your buddies in a “best of” race format that provides multiple chances to throw down your fastest time. Come one, come all to Port Gamble, WA for the first ever Hot Laps!

The Hot Laps Enduro is an all new format for 2024. It’s enduro racing with a twist… 5 stages with a 3-run “best of” format. Your best time is the one that counts! It’s a low pressure, high-excitement style of racing that will provide an inviting setting for first time racers and create an epic battle for the top pros.

Event Structure & Details

-Timing by RACE CASCADIA

-Racers must complete the course (all 5 stages) and “dip their chip” to put a time on the board. After getting a time, riders are cleared to start doing their additional HOT LAPS!

-3 laps maximum per stage

-Beginner and Sport will do fewer and less difficult stages

-Cash Prizes for top 5 men and women

-Individual stage win cash prizes for men and women stage winners

-Product prizes for winners of men and women in all categories.

Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up it’s bobsled time!! The Cool Runnings Pro Invitational is the single slalom event of the century! We encourage spectators and heckling as some of the fastest racers in the country battle it out! 3 timed runs per racer with a “best of”format. Your fastest lap is the one that counts! To sweeten the pot, 100% of your registration money goes to fueling the prize purse. It’s a high stakes – put your money where your mouth is – race that you don’t want to miss. Event Rules & Details


-Timing by NW Cup

-E-Bike Motors must be turned off

-Friday practice is open all day (trail closed to public)

-Saturday morning practice (2 hours) then racing begins

-After each of the 3 runs (essentially 3 full races) the riders will be racked in order of how they placed in previous runs

– Cash Prize for top 3 in each category. Your entry fee fuels the prize purse. Shooting for

3k – 2k – 1k prize purse for podium (Dependent if we hit the 50 rider minimum).

TOP GUN JUMP JAM

– SweetLines women’s session Friday evening May 24th

– Top Gun Jump Jam Saturday evening May 25th.

The Top Gun Jump Jam is a fully public session held on Port Gambles renowned Iceman and Maverick jump lines and will take place on Saturday evening after the Cool Runnings Invitational. Ride and high five with your heroes in a casual jam format event. Prizes will be awarded for men’s and women’s best whip and best line. As an added bonus, we are hosting a women’s warm up session on Friday evening powered by Sweetlines. Don’t miss this great opportunity to progress your skills in a low pressure, high smiles setting!CAMPING

Public camping is available at the Port Gamble RC field adjacent to the mountain bike trails. $10 per night with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Evergreen West Sound for the development of the Port Gamble bike trails. Park your van, set up your tent, and ride directly to festivities on an easy to navigate trail system. Beer garden will be available Friday and Saturday night hosted by Evergreen West Sound.
