Ebikes

I just spent a cumulative 12 hours abusing the ever living snot out of my 2018 RadMini on some MTB single track.

I weigh 250 lbs and it handled great. I aired down my fat K-Rads and pummeled some trail (I wish I had the Krusaders on it, but I mostly ride in the city). The past two days I rode it like a dirtbike in the sense that I mostly used throttle. The only concerns I had was that a small 20″ wheel made me second guess rolling over some things when I couldn’t get the front wheel up and the fact that the front sprocket barely has any protection. Since I’m used to riding dirtbikes, I’m used to having a skid plate to slide around on. The only thing that suffered was the front sprocket guard, as it’s now a bit more aerodynamic. I would’ve preferred to have a better e-mtb, but I have what I have.

I’ve had it since new and I have never treated it like a delicate bike. I can’t speak for what they’re pumping out now and I feel bad for the folks that have had a hard time getting a hold of the crickets they keep for customer service.
