How do you maintain your ebike? Do you do anything different than you would a “regular” bike? Do you find yourself replacing brake pads more often? Chains? Rear cassettes?
Which products do you use (chain/gear cleaner, lube, etc)? Which should we stay away from? Do you have a favorite brand of tools you like to use? Is there an all inclusive cycling enthusiasts tool set in a box that has everything we’ll need for routine maintenance as well as drivetrain overhauls?

Usually is just oil the chain, clean the tube and check the tire. I dont think its that complicated.
For a start I’d never dump it upside down like that. Buy a proper rated ebike stand to lift it up and clamp it in, it’s so much easier, wheels off, bars off etc in a few seconds on your own then.
I clean and lube chain
Clean pads and discs
Make sure everything is the right tightness and check tyres and tyre pressures.

Aren’t you worried the chain will grab your pants without a chainring guard?
Had that happen to me and let me tell you, it was properly stuck. I couldn’t rip it off and my leg was stuck next to the chainring. Had to ask a random person for help. They were kind enough to return with a knife and cut the pants so I could get off. If I was alone in some forest, I don’t know what I’d have done.
